President and CEO
Jeffrey is President, CEO and a member of the Board of Directors of BRT Apartments Corp. (NYSE:BRT). BRT provides joint venture equity on multifamily properties throughout the country, and purchases multifamily directly. Jeff also serves as a Vice President of Georgetown partners, Inc. (the Managing General partner of Gould Investors L.P.), and equity oriented real estate company; Senior vice President and Member of the Board of Directors of One Liberty Properties, Inc. (NYSE: OLP), a single tenant triple net leased public company; and Majestic Property Management corp. Jeff is a member of the Chief Executive Organization (CEO) and World Presidents Organization in the New York Big Apple chapter.
Jeff received a BA from the University of Michigan.
Jeff and his wife Suzanne have six children and reside in Old Westbury, New York.
EVP
Mitch is Executive Vice President of BRT Apartments Corp. (NYSE: BRT), a Great Neck, New York based public mortgage REIT. He has been a member of the BRT team since 1997. Mitch was a past president of the Metropolitan Mortgage Officers Association, and formerly a board member with the Young Mortgage Bankers Association. Prior to joining BRT, he was a officer for North Fork Bank, Bayside Federal Savings and Bear Stearns, Inc.
Mr. Gould is a graduate of the University of Vermont, where he received a BS degree in small business management in 1994.
Chief Operating Officer
Ryan is the Chief Operating Officer at BRT Apartments Corp. He joined the firm in 2013 and is primarily responsible for strategic planning and decision making as well as evaluating and analyzing the firm's current portfolio.
Ryan graduated with a BBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and received his MBA from New York University Stern School of Business with an emphasis in Corporate Finance and Strategy.
Vice President and CFO
Mr. George E. Zweier has been the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President at BRT Apartments Corp. since August 1998 and serves as its Principal Accounting Officer. Mr. Zweier, a certified public accountant has been with BRT since June 1998. For approximately five years prior to joining the Company, Mr. Zweier was an Accounting Officer with the Bank of Tokyo - Mitsubishi UFJ, in New York and for more than five years prior thereto he was an Accounting and Audit Officer with the Dime Savings Bank of New York, Uniondale, New York. Mr. Zweier also serves on the Board of Directors of NEFCU, a Long Island based credit union, as its treasurer. Mr. Zweier is a member of the AICPA and the NYSSCPA's.
George recieved a BA from Hofstra University and an MBA from St. John's University
Vice President
Christine Grippo is a Vice President at BRT Apartments Corp. Christine joined BRT in 2007. Christine’s responsibilities include underwriting commercial real estate investments for acquisition, performing due diligence for new deals and asset management. Prior to joining BRT Christine worked as a Financial Associate in a major investment bank managing residential and commercial warehouse lines of credit.
Christine received a B.A. in International Business from Hofstra University and an M.S. in Real Estate Finance and Investment from NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate
Vice President
A Vice President with BRT Apartments Corp., he has been a member of the BRT team since 2005. Alon has expertise in Asset Management as well as structuring, underwriting and originating Real Estate investment opportunities. Alon is an instrumental member of the BRT investment and Asset Management team. Prior to joining BRT, Alon was an assistant property manager for Levine Builders, a Douglaston (Queens, NY) based general contractor, developer and owner/operator.
Mr. Rosenzweig received a B.S. from Indiana University in 2003.
Assistant Controller
An Assistant Controller with BRT Apartments Corp. Prior to joining BRT in 2014, Brenda worked for large publicly held company in the manufacturing industry and was responsible for financial reporting as well as managing the Sarbanes-Oxley compliance effort. She also worked as an auditor for PwC where her client base was both in the private sector and the financial services industry.
Brenda received a B.S. in Accounting from LIU-CW Post.
Vice President
Steven Rosenzweig is Senior Vice President-Legal of BRT Apartments Corp. Prior to joining the Company Steven was special counsel at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP, New York, New York.
Steven received his BA from the Gallatin School of Individualized Study at New York University in 2000, and his JD from Fordham University School of Law in 2003.
Senior Vice President-Finance
David is the Senior Vice President - Finance of BRT Apartments Corp. He also serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Georgetown Partners, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of One Liberty Properties and Majestic Property Management Corp. Prior to joining the company in 1990, David, a Certified Public Accountant, was a partner in Buchbinder Tunick & Company (and its predecessors).
David received a BBA from City College-Baruch School in 1968 and became a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York in 1972.
He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the New York State Society of CPAs.
